Here are some of Your Letters and Kind Words to Us...

Dear Malachy and Josephine,

Cristiana and I want to express our deepest thanks for the wonderful ceremony. Cristiana's parents were very happy and the readings in Italian were the perfect touch. We could not have hoped for a better beginning to our new lives.

We will be sure to send you a photo once the film is developed, and we will also remember to send you a photo from our ceremony next year in Cambodia.

Thanks for everything, our best wishes for your family and your Church in 2006!

~ Peter and Cristiana ~ January 5th, 2006

Hello Malachy,

Richard and I would like to send you our deepest thanks for such a beautiful ceremony. It was just what we wanted, something a little formal but still relaxed enough to feel comfortable. You did a beautiful job dealing with the giggling and laughing that took place during the ceremony. We have started our new lives together on a perfect day.

Thanks so much for everything leading up to the ceremony and being patient with us.

Sincerely,

Joy & Richard

Good day folks....

We just wanted to say Thanks for the wonderful service you did for us on July 8th. Your help in plotting the ceremony and the comfort in which the ceremony went was wonderful. Many people commented on how "at ease" everything was.

Again, thanks for all your help and patience getting us there and married.......

~ Blair & Michelle ~ July 8th, 2006

Hello Josephine and Malachy,

Sorry its taken me so long to get back to you regarding our wedding ceremony outline. Chris and I both thought it was absolutely fantastic, it's exactly what we were hoping for! We feel that it truly personalizes the ceremony and expresses our love for one another. So a big thank-you to you both for helping us figure out how the ceremony process will work.

Looking forward to the big day!

~ Chris and April ~ September 2nd, 2006

You guys did a BEAUTIFUL job!

Samantha - Alaina's Maid of Honour - June 24th, 2006

Dear Rev. Egan,

Thank you for performing a very lovely ceremony. We were so impressed with your spirit of calmness which made the service so much easier for Erica and Lee and for your clear explanations of the service at the rehearsal the night before. We have nice memories of that ceremony. Thank you again.

Sincerely

~ Susan and David, Erica's mom and dad in Ontario ~

To Reverend Malachy Egan:

Thanks so much for all your help in making our wedding plans special. As we planned this day, it was very important to us to incorporate traditions from each of our religions into our ceremony. We hope that these traditions reflect the importance that our families and spirituality have in our lives together.

Chupah - Our wedding ceremony takes place under the chupah [canopy], a symbol of the home to be built and shared by the couple.
Seven Blessings [Sheva Berakhot] - These blessings are recited in a traditional Jewish wedding and they celebrate the connection between the bride and groom to God.
Unity Candle Ceremony - The ceremony symbolizes the pledge of unity between the bride and groom and the merging of our two families.
Breaking of the Glass - The most well-known custom in the Jewish wedding, the breaking of the glass signals the end of the ceremony.

Thank You for Your Part in Making Our Wedding Special.

~ Briden & Dave ~ March 10th, 2006

Dear Reverend Jo,

I wanted to let you know that although none of Terry's aunts had ever attended a wedding outside the Catholic church [before ours], they all told me how comfortable they felt during our wedding ceremony. His aunts said they all felt so spiritually and emotionally uplifted! It was really nice. Thank you! Even his uncle who serves as Eucharist Minister whom you've met at the wedding had no complaints whatsoever! Everyone asked and we were so happy, we gave out your contact info during our reception. We have no hesitation recommending you to all our friends and anyone who is getting married!

~ Laura & Terry ~

Rev. Egan -

Thanks so much for agreeing to be such an important part of our special day. You certainly helped me through the nerves and the service was fantastic. - Allyn

Malachy -

Thanks for sharing our special day. You are a really interesting and genuine person, and you helped make our special day even better. - Cheers, Kevin

Hello Josephine,

Thank you so much for your reply. I actually shed a few tears as I read through the hand ceremony. What a beautiful idea! I also really liked your ideas to incorporate native spirituality [especially the apache wedding prayer]. Thank-you so much for your help so far. Looking forward to hearing from you! As well, is there a way to 'reserve' you for our wedding date? Take Care.
